At MNOHS, Minnesota licensed and highly qualified teachers write and teach their own unique courses!  Students and teachers connect with one another through the Internet rather than in a classroom.

Students log into a learning management system, called Blackboard, to access their courses and "come to school" each day.  You will have your own account in Blackboard, and this is where you will find your classes, communicate with teachers and other students, and submit your school work.  The MNOHS Getting Your Computer Ready Technology Orientation is in Blackboard and will help you to learn about all of the tools and features and how to "find your way" through the school.

At MNOHS you will read, write, think out loud, discuss ideas, create, calculate, get help from teachers, share your work and respond to other students' work, collaborate on projects, conduct research, solve problems, make decisions, demonstrate what you have learned, and more--all in a virtual school setting using computers and Internet connections.
