At MNOHS, Minnesota licensed teachers write and teach their own unique courses. They focus on active learning--what students will create and how they will share it with others. Students and teachers connect with one another through the Internet rather than in a classroom. MNOHS brings students closer...- to the subjects they are studying
- to teachers and other students
- to their goals of completing a single course, earning a diploma, or attending college
How online learning works- Students and teachers connect in a virtual classroom using computers and the Internet.
Most of the time students can set their own daily or weekly schedule--however, they can get "real time" support or attend optional class meetings as well. Students may work on the computer at home, at a library or community computer lab, or even while traveling. Students learn - read, write, discuss, create, calculate, share, research, solve problems, and make decisions - using electronic tools.
